Settings refer to the various healthcare environments where students gain experience treating patients. These include inpatient (hospital-based with overnight stays), outpatient (clinics or offices with same-day visits), acute care (focused on urgent or short-term treatment), and rehabilitation (centers that support recovery and regain of function).
Each setting offers unique learning opportunities based on the type and intensity of care provided. The use and definition of these settings can vary from program to program, depending on their curriculum.
Steps
- Select Program Details from the dash board or the hamburger menu.
You’ll navigate to the Setup page. In the setup page you can view and manage the school profile, grading and clinical settings, and setup the site resource page.
- To add the setting click on Grading and clinical settings option.
- Click on edit (pencil) icon next to program clinical settings.
- In the Edit program clinical settings drawer, add the name of the setting and assign colour to it.
- Click Save on completion.
