This article provides you the steps to setup HIPAA training for students by Compliance Junction via Exxat Prism. 

You can setup the HIPAA training int he Students Compliance Section for two settings. 

• HIPAA training paid by students. 
• HIPAA training paid by schools.

Pre-requisite

1. University is introduced to the Compliance Junction for HIPAA training requirements by Exxat.
2. University and Compliance Junction negotiate and decide on the pricing and the payment type. 
   • HIPAA training fees payment by student.
   • HIPAA training fees payment by school. 
3. Compliance junction creates two standard HIPAA trainings (School payment and Student payment) and share the course information with Exxat or School Administrator for setting up the HIPAA training in Exxat Prism. 

Setting up HIPAA training

To setup the HIPAA training follow the steps listed below. 

1. Login to Exxat Prism and go to Students Compliance from the dashboard or the hamburger menu. 
   
2. Go to Setup tab.
   
3. Select the cohort from the Cohort drop-down menu.
   
   
   
4. Go to External Trainings section and click on the pencil icon for HIPAA Training. 
   
   
   
5. In the HIPAA Training drawer do the following. 
   1. Enable HIPPA Training
   2. Select Vendor - Compliance Junction 
   3. Enter the Course Id provided by Compliance Junction.
   4. Enter the Course Link provided by Compliance Junction. 
   5. Select Payment Type - School Pay or Student Pay.
      
   6. Enable Mandatory slide to make the training mandatory. 
   7. Choose if you do not want the training to be reviewed by Approve.
   8. Enable Include In profile link. 
   9. Enable Review Required. 
   10. Enable to indicate if the training contains sensitive information.
   11. Set Due date.
   12. Provide Guidelines to students while signing up for the training. 
       
6. Click Save  button in the right top corner of the HIPAA Training drawer. 
7. Click Confirm to save the course details and enable HIPAA training.
   
   HIPAA training is setup for the cohort selected. 
   
8. In the Student Compliance-Setup page, click Publish button in the top right corner to make the HIPAA training available for students.
