Self-service for building your custom reports

Exxat now has Self-service custom report builder!  Building your custom report allows you to visualize data from multiple individual reports into one view. The first report builder is based on your Timesheet data. 

The custom report builder is accessible via the below navigation path,

Learning Activities > Reports > Create New Report

Here is how you can use the self-reporting feature:

• Select and organize the data points most relevant to you
• Apply Basic and/or Advanced Filters to refine your dataset
• Use the Pivot Report option to group data by rows and columns, applying functions like Sum or Average for deeper insights
• Generate and download raw or summarized data for further analysis

For example, if you want a report that gives you the total approved hours per course per student for a certain data range, it is now possible to generate this view using the custom report feature. The pivot format for the report lets you select the rows and columns with the information that you need. Now if you apply a filter for only showing the approved hours and between a certain time period, say last 6 months, you can do that as well.
