Low score indicators in evaluations play an important role, notifying you promptly when a student's performance falls below the defined expectations. You can monitor these directly from the review page as well as receive an email alert.
Low score indicators
If the overall score of a form drops below the designated threshold upon submission, you can see the form score highlighted in red on the review screen. To use this feature, set the low score threshold from the Forms/Evaluations setup screen.
Auto notifications
There are two types of notifications you can configure to receive alerts.
1. Low score notification (based on overall form score)
How does it work?
If the overall score of a form drops below the designated threshold upon submission, a notification is automatically sent to placement faculty (if assigned). Additionally, schools can also have emails sent to designated individuals.
What are the steps to set it up?
- Low score threshold has to be set up under the Forms/Evaluations setup screen.
- Contact support to activate the 'low score notification' and specify the individual who needs to get the emails.
- The configured notifications are visible at the bottom of the Forms/Evaluations setup screen for visibility.
2. Response based notification (based on responses to specific questions)
How does it work?
If response on a specific question does not meet the set criteria upon submission, a notification is automatically sent to placement faculty (if assigned). Additionally, schools can also have emails sent to individuals. This feature supports all question types, including single-select and multi-select.
What are the steps to set it up?
- Contact your Account Manager and Configuration team to set up question-level thresholds
- Contact support to activate the 'response-based notification' and specify the individuals who need to get the emails.
- The configured notifications are visible at the bottom of the Forms/Evaluations setup screen for visibility.
