Measures are the components that build your courses I.e course objectives, instructional objectives, course learning outcomes, course goals etc. You can add, edit and delete them directly in the system.
Steps:
- On the curriculum mapping page, select Curriculum Grid.

You will see a list of all the curriculum grids created so far and then you can click on the grid and select the course for which you want to add measures.

You will find different categories of measures on this page created on the program details page and activated for this curriculum grid.
Adding Measures:
- If measures exist, expand using the downward arrow to view existing data.
- If no data exists, use the "+" icon to add a new measure for a specific category.
- You can add a measure by clicking on “+” from the measure category card.

A drawer will pop up asking you to fill the details for the measure you are adding.
- Code: This is the number of the measure you are adding. I.e 1, 2, 3 etc.
- Description: This is the actual description of the measure you are adding.
- Tags: You can add any tag to this objective, for example: In progress, Reviewed, Need Review or Need attention, Highest level objective etc. In the below screenshot you can see few examples of tags. Tags work as sticky notes for you and your team to be able to generate a report based on what has been tagged. If a faculty has tagged their objective as “needs reviewed” then the person overseeing the mappings can generate a report and check which objective needs to be reviewed and then tag them as “reviewed”.

To add a tag:

Click on “+” icon next to tags. It will show a blank textarea as shown in screenshot below:
- Click on “+ Add” icon. Add the name of the tag in the text area. In the example below we have added “Needs Review”. You can also choose a color for it by clicking on the paint icon next to the name and click add once done.
- Once you add your list of tags, you can apply them to your objectives.
- As soon as you apply the tags to the objectives, you will find the tag appearing for that objective on the screen.

Click on “+” icon next to tags. It will show a blank textarea as shown in screenshot below:
- Once you add your course measures, you will find the list building up in the system and you can continue to add more objectives to this by clicking on “Add course objectives”.
Editing Measures:

To edit any measure, click on the objective and then the pencil icon next to the measure and a drawer will pop up on the right-hand side same as you add the measures on the description box
Click on pencil icon to edit measures - Click on save once done.
Deleting Measures:

To delete a measure, you will have to click on the same pencil icon which will take you to the edit drawer of that measure.

On the right-hand side next to the save button, you will find the 3 dots as show in below:
- When you click on the 3 dots, it shows the option to delete the measure.
- Once you click on delete, the measure will be deleted along with any mappings/attributes associated.
