Within the system, you will have Sites (group or entity with which a contractual relationship is established) and Locations (a physical location where patient care takes place).
To move a Location from one Site to another due to any reason such as a merger or takeover, please follow the below steps.
- Select Sites from your left-menu or dashboard.
- Click Locations and select the location want to move.
Tip: Use the search box and filters to find what you’re looking for! - Click Move Location from the top right corner of the screen. The page will load all existing sites.
- In the Select a Site tab, select or search the site from the Site Name list and click Next.
- On the Personnel Movement Info tab, you can review all the personnels that are associated with the site and click Next.
Note: When personnel are associated with multiple locations and only a few of those locations are relocated, they will continue to be linked to the remaining locations.
Note: Attributes inherited from site such as Settings, Categories, Requirements, Requirement uploads, Notes, Documents and Contracts will not be moved. - Review all the details in the Additional Info tab and click Move Location. If there are personnel associated with the location, then the Additional Info displays relevant information based on the following use cases:

- Sole Location: If the location being moved is the only location under the source site, then all the associated personnel will be disassociated from the source site and associated with both the original location and the destination site.
- Multiple Locations: If the location being moved is one of several locations under the source site, then the associated personnel will remain associated with the source site and its other locations, while also being associated with both the original location and the destination site.
- No Associated Personnel: If no personnel are associated with the location, the Personnel Movement Info tab will not appear.
- Click on Yes to confirm the movement. After you conform the movement, a confirmation message is displayed.
- Once the task is completed the system will display below confirmation and this completes the location movement process.
- You can see the audit log/history logs of from which site this location was moved to this site along with who and timestamp of when it was moved
- Select the required Site name to see audit log.
- Select the Locations tab and select Location Movement History.
- See the details on right hand side.
