Efficiently managing and analyzing learning activities across rotations is essential for educational institutions to track progress and optimize educational outcomes. This guide explores how to leverage Learning Activity Groups and reports within Exxat Prism to streamline course analysis and reporting.
By organizing courses into groups and utilizing insightful reports, educators and administrators can gain valuable insights into student performance and course effectiveness.

Create Learning Activity Groups
Learning Activity Groups allow you to analyze learning activities across rotations all at once.
You can group courses by course, terms, cohorts and more! You can always edit and delete placement groups without losing any data.
Access Learning Activity Groups
- In the Left pane of the Learning Activity window, click on the Add Group button. Creating a learning activity group drawer opens.
- In Create a learning activity group drawer, in the Details section, enter the Group Name (mandatory field) and enter the Description for the group (optional), and then click Next.
- In the Select course offerings section, search for the course using the Search filters in the left pane.
- Select the Course from the list populated and click Next.
Note: You can select and add up to 50 courses in a group. - In the Review section, review the selections made and click Save
.
If you need to make changes, use the Previous buttonto go to the previous screens.
Learning Activity Group is created successfully. You can see the newly added group in the Learning Activity Group list.

View Learning Activity Reports
- Login to the Exxat Prism using the university credentials.
- Select Learning Activities
- In the placement management section of the dashboard, click on the Learing Activities tile.
or - In the top left corner of the dashboard, click the hamburger menu and select Learning Activities.
- In the placement management section of the dashboard, click on the Learing Activities tile.
- Select Reports
- To view reports for a particular course, click on the Reports link in the Action column of the course details.
- To view reports for the learning activity group, select the learning activity group and go to the Reports tab.
- If you want to view reports and filter by any grouping preferences, click on the Reports
button in the left pane.
- To view reports for a particular course, click on the Reports link in the Action column of the course details.
- Click on the Report you want to view.
- Use the drop-down filters to customize your preference and click on Download Report button.
The report is downloaded in an Excel file.
