My request is a type of wishlist that allows you to collect details for a placement which a student submits to you.
- Select Placements from your left-menu.
- Select the Course to set-up a wishlist by clicking on the course name.
- If you’d like to manage slots for multiple courses, select your placement group from the left panel > Select Placements for Group.
- Select Wishlist from the banner at the top of the page.
- The system will display all previously created Wishlist’s for the selected course list. Click on + Create wishlist to set-up a new wishlist.
- You will be taken to a new page for you to set your preferences for your wishlist. On step 1, you will provide the following:
- Wishlist name: this name will appear throughout the system. You and your students will see this wishlist name.
- View only date: the date on which students can view the wishlist, but cannot yet begin working on their preferences. You can set this before the open date to allow students to begin their research!
- Open date: The earliest date for which the students can submit their wishlist.
- Close date: The last date for which students can submit and modify their wishlist.

Set up: select My Request.
- On step 2, select the My Request form you would like to use, the rotation you’d like to enable My Request for, and set a minimum number of entries your students must include. You can also set a maximum along with guidelines for them to follow.

- Select the appropriate form template for the course offering that the students will fill in the request form.

- Step 3 will show you the students who are registered for the course. They will all be included by default. Make any necessary changes using the open checkboxes.
- If you foresee changes in the course registration list, check off the statement – Automatically update student selection when course registration is updated. This will save you time from having to manually update the wishlist if new students are added to the course.

- My Request Status Notification: If you would like either you or students to be notified when the status of the My Request form changes, select either option.
- Notify Students: decide which status triggers a notification for each status (overall, compliance, etc.)
- Notify School: click on + Add Notification and decide which status should trigger a notification and to who. You can select from the course faculty list or add additional recipients.
- My Request Comments Notification: if you would like to notify your team or students when comments are added, select either option. For the school option, select from the course faculty or add additional recipients.
- Step 5 will show you a summary of all your selections. Review it carefully. If changes are needed, click Back to make modifications. If everything is good to go, click Save.
- Your wishlist will now be saved and will appear within the Wishlist tab. To view the wishlist from your student’s point of view, click Preview.
- A drawer will open, allowing you to preview the wishlist.
