During a placement, your program will request that you complete certain activities such as:
- Forms or Evaluations
- Patient Logs
- Timesheets
- Time Off Requests
Within Prism, you have 2 ways to access this information – via the Coursework page and the Learning Activities section.
Both pathways will allow you to compete these activities, but they look a bit different. Let’s take a look!
Viewing Learning Activities via Coursework
- Select Coursework from your dashboard or left menu.
- The page will display all the courses you are registered for.
- If you wish to see the courses that requires placement click on 'Require Placement' tab.
- If you wish to see the didactic courses you can click on Do No Require Placement tab.

The page will always list any current placements at the very top, followed by upcoming placements, and completed placements last.You’ll quickly know if something needs your attention (wishlist, pending attestation, etc.) with the help of the 'May Need Attention' column.
- You can also use the filter options to sort the information by needs attention such as Attestation (Pending), Wishlist (Open), Wishlist (Yet to Open), My Request (Open), and My Request (Yet to Open). Additionally, you can filter by placement schedule, including Current, Upcoming, and Completed.
- Click View Details for the desired course.

Note: On the course activities page, you can view the Compliance Status. The status is displayed based on the compliance review status. The following are the statuses:
- No docs started
- Some actions Needed
- All doc Approved
- A current placement will have various components of information you can review, and assignments you will complete.
- The Course Activities tab will allow you to provide clinician information and show you all the course & placement related activities you must complete. Make sure to keep an eye on any due dates!
- Placement Details tab will include any information shared with you regarding the site.
12. You can review course details under Course Information tab and any resources added by your program to assist you with any Course Activity items.
Viewing Activities via Learning Activities
- Select Learning Activities from your dashboard or left menu.
- The page will then display our standard learning activities on the ribbon at the top of the page. Select the Learning Activity you’d like to work on.
a. You’ll also have a Reports section.
- The system will display all placements on the page. Click on the dropdown arrow of the desired placement.
- You can then review or begin any completed learning activities for that given rotation.
